From all of us at Chess Learning Academy, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Philippine Youth Chess Team! Your outstanding achievement of bringing home 13 medals — 8 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze — at the 9th Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship held in Guangdong, China from July 22-28, 2025, is truly commendable.

Special accolades go to Woman FIDE Master (WFM) Jemaicah Yap Mendoza, who secured 3 golds in the U14 Girls Individual Standard, U16 Individual, and Team Blitz events.
We also applaud International Master (IM) elect Christian Gian Carlo Arca for his gold medal in the U18 Boys Individual Standard and bronze medal in the Individual Blitz competition.
Additionally, congratulations to FM Travis Cu, Woman National Master (WNM) Kaye Lalaine Regidor, Mark Gabriel Usman, and Elle Castronuevo for their impressive gold medals!
