Class Advisory: November 1–2, 2026 Chess Classes Pause

Class advisory: no chess classes on November 1–2, 2026, with classes resuming November 3. See how Chess Learning Academy keeps young players learning online.

📢 CLASS ADVISORY | November 1–2, 2026

A Short Class Break for the Holiday

From time to time, the calendar calls for a break. Holidays give our students, chess coaches, and families a chance to step away from the board and rest, and we are happy to honour them. We post advisories like this one so every family at Chess Learning Academy can plan ahead.

Breaks matter for young learners. A rested child returns to the board with fresh eyes and renewed curiosity, and short pauses often lead to sudden leaps in understanding when lessons pick back up.

In observance of the holiday, please be informed that there will be no chess classes on November 1 and 2, 2026.

♟️Regular classes will resume on November 3, 2026 (Tuesday), unless otherwise advised.

Keeping Skills Sharp During the Break

A short break does not have to mean losing momentum. A little chess each day can keep a child's mind warm without turning the holiday into homework. A quick puzzle, a short game with a family member, or a few minutes reviewing past lessons is plenty.

For younger learners, even handling the pieces and setting up the board counts. The goal is not to study, but to keep the connection to chess alive and enjoyable, so returning to class feels natural rather than rusty. For families who use chess as part of a homeschool chess curriculum, these small moments fit easily into the day.

May this time bring peace, reflection, and meaningful moments with our loved ones. 🕊️

Thank you for your continued support!

What to Expect When Classes Resume

When lessons return on November 3, our coaches will be ready to pick up right where each student left off. Because every class is one-on-one, there is no group schedule to catch up on — chess training for children simply continues at each child's own pace, refreshed from the break.

If you have questions about your child's schedule, or would like to adjust a slot, our team is happy to help. A quick message is all it takes.
