🎉 Congratulations to all our TOP players of the 19th CLA Online Chess Tournament – 1001 and Above Division! 🏆 Your hard work, strategy, and passion for chess truly stood out. We are proud to celebrate your achievements in this competitive online chess event!
Another edition of the Chess Learning Academy Online Chess Tournament is in the books, and once again our students showed how far steady training can take a young player. Every name on these 19th chess tournament results represents hours of practice, rounds of friendly advice from coaches, and a willingness to step up and compete.
Competing online from home gives kids a special kind of practice. They learn to manage the clock, stay calm when the position shifts, and trust the skills they have built. Those are exactly the habits that turn a casual student into a confident competitor.
Why the 19th tournament matters
Tournaments give a child a goal to aim for between lessons. When there is a clear next event on the calendar, practice stops being abstract and becomes chess tournament prep with purpose. Kids start asking better questions, reviewing their games, and taking ownership of their own progress.
A results list also teaches perspective. Winning feels wonderful, and so does a hard-earned finish anywhere on the board. What stays with a child long after the event is the confidence of having competed, not just the medal they took home.

What comes next
After the final round, the real work continues. At Chess Learning Academy, a chess coach reviews games with each student, pointing out strong ideas and moments to improve. That follow-through is what turns one tournament experience into steady, visible growth in youth chess development by the next event.
Families play a part too. A calm, encouraging home atmosphere — win or lose — helps a child stay excited about returning to the board. That support is often the quiet reason a young player keeps improving season after season.
