🏆 Congratulations, Juan Jeremar! 🏅 TOP 14 ♟️2026 National Age Group Chess Championship ♟️ Standard Event – Under 8 Boys
We are proud to celebrate your achievement at the 2026 National Age Group Chess Championship!
The National Age Group Chess Championship brings together the strongest young players in the country, divided by age. Competing there means facing opponents who train seriously, study openings, and play long, measured games — and for Chess Learning Academy, a finish like this is a proud chess tournament result.
Congratulations, Juan Jeremar: A National Milestone
Standard events like the Under 8 Boys category use long time controls. A game can stretch well beyond an hour, so young players must hold their focus, plan carefully, and avoid rushing when the position gets tense — exactly the skills that chess tournament prep is built to strengthen.
Finishing in the top fourteen of a national field, with a score of 3.5 out of 7, is a strong result for an eight-year-old. It shows Jeremar can score points against the country's best in his age group — and that he belongs in that company.
Competing in the Under 8 Boys Standard Event, Jeremar earned a TOP 14 finish with a score of 3.5/7 against some of the strongest young players from across the country.
This accomplishment reflects your dedication, courage, and passion for chess. Every tournament is a learning experience, and this national-level event is another important step in your chess journey.
Keep working hard, keep enjoying the game, and continue striving for excellence. Your Chess Learning Academy family is proud of you! 💙
We are happy to be part of your chess journey.

Youth Chess Development: His Next Steps
Every national event is a measuring stick. Coaches at Chess Learning Academy look at the games to see what held up under pressure and what needs work. Those lessons guide the training plan that follows.
For parents, a result like this confirms that the quiet routine of weekly lessons and practice is paying off. Progress in chess is rarely a straight line, but milestones like a top-14 national finish show the climb is real — and that steady chess training for children works.
If your child dreams of competing on a national stage, a strong foundation makes all the difference. See how our online chess classes for kids prepare young players for tournaments like this one.
